Maqsudul Alam (Scientist)

Maqsudul Alam (Scientist) Maqsudul Alam was a Bangladeshi  scientist and professor . He accomplished four points of reference in genomics: sequencing the genomes of papaya, elastic, jute and parasite. He was an educator of the University of Hawaii at Manoa and an individual from warning board at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology. He was granted Independence Day Award in 2016 after death by the Government of Bangladesh. Following the underlying achievement in translating jute genome in June 2010, Maqsudul drove a group of Bangladeshi researchers in unraveling the genome of a parasites fatal to jute in September 2012. Three years into the fruitful genome sequencing of tossa jute, Bangladeshi researchers, under the authority of Maqsudul, unwound the genome grouping of deshi jute in 2013. Maqsudul had before decoded the genome of papaya in the US and elastic plant in Malaysia.  Everything started in February 2008, when Maqsudul Alam moved toward Professor Ahmad Shamsul I
