Birsrestha Mohammad Hamidur Rahman (2 February 1953 – 28 October 1971) was a sepoy in Bangladesh Army amid
the Bangladesh Liberation War. Rahman was executed on 28 October 1971 at
Dhalai, Sylhet amid an endeavor to catch the Pakistani Army's position. The

Rahman

Shreshtha Hamidur Rahman Stadium in Jhenaidah area is named after him. A ship
was named after him. A library and exhibition hall was worked in his memory and
the town he was conceived in, Khordo Khalishpur has been renamed Hamid Nagar.
Hamidur Rahman Degree College was named in his respect.
